End of the Decade
1/9/10
I've been trying to think about the last ten years and come up with some highlights and heartaches for the decade. I remember sitting in my parents' house at midnight 2000 waiting to see if the end of the world was really happening. I had been through some of this before. I'd been duped by the 89 reasons in 1989 pamphlet during that year. I'd been pretty convinced of those arguments, but they were all proven untrue eventually (as you can see).
This time I was more cynical. We didn't buy the hype, so we watched the ball drop, flipped the channels and all made it safely into the 2000s. Prince played a lot on tv. I had finished 2. 5 years of seminary by that point. In the 1990s I'd graduated from college, gotten married, had three kids, moved several times and that's about all I can remember.
So what about the 2000s?

: Fun list, Serven (and glad to have made it). You had a good decade, methinks.
